Using XFCut for Mac and Linux
XFCut is a vinyl cutting plug-in application that works with CorelDraw or Illustrator. This software allows users to output design files directly to a vinyl cutter such as the Roland, Graphtec, GCC, USCutter, Yinghe, Secabo, iMakr or KNK. The software can also add registration marks into designs. XFCut is available for Mac and Linux, with support for 700 different cutters.
The xfce settings tool has a Session and Startup tab where you can specify programs that should launch on Xfce start-up (it follows the XDG Autostart specification). Alternatively, you can use an editor to create a bash script which runs at Xfce start-up (see /etc/Xfce4/autostart). Then add the command to your /.bashrc file, or to a global menu like TopMenu or Mutiny.
Using a keyboard shortcut, you can toggle display compositing for the current window. This can help reduce screen-tearing, but disables a number of graphical effects. To re-enable compositing, you must reboot or logout. Advanced users may prefer to use a tiling Wayland compositor like compton instead of the Xfwm4 default.
Xfce has an ad-free, lightweight browser plugin that supports HTML5 video and audio streaming as well as Flash content. The plugin is free to use, but donations are encouraged. Xfce also offers plugins for Google Chrome and Opera. Other plugins include the ability to download a variety of fonts, a clock widget and a weather widget. The ad-free browser also provides a lockscreen option that blocks access to your desktop, and other security features.
